Google updated its video editor app Vids with new features, including avatar customization via text prompts, Veo 3.1 support for generating eight-second clips, direct YouTube exports, and a Chrome extension for screen recording. Users can direct avatars to interact with products or props and customize characters' appearances and backgrounds. Google AI Ultra and Workspace AI Ultra accounts can generate up to 1,000 Veo videos monthly.
