Four leading Indian tyre manufacturers have completed over 1.25 lakh hectares of rubber plantation in Northeast and West Bengal as part of the INROAD project. The Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association (ATMA) aims to develop two lakh hectares of rubber plantation at a cost of Rs 1,100 crore in five years.
