💨 Abstract

The Delhi government increased the annual MLA-LAD fund from Rs 10 crore to Rs 15 crore to expedite development projects ahead of assembly polls in early 2025. The decision was made to address infrastructure and development needs in the city, particularly in light of the damage caused by heavy rains. The fund will enable MLAs to quickly provide relief without waiting for departmental sanctions.
