The Army is working on a proposal to relocate villages ahead of the fence along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir to safeguard the lives of people. Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, GoC of the Army's Chinar Corps, said a plan is evolving, considering both security and socio-economic factors. He stressed the need for cooperation with civil administration and emphasized that the safety of the people in these areas is a concern.
