💨 Abstract
Balaji Govindappa, Executive Director of Bharati Cement Pvt Ltd, was arrested by Andhra Pradesh's Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Mysuru, Karnataka, for his involvement in a ₹3,200 crore liquor scam allegedly occurring during the previous YSRCP regime. The SIT had searched his Hyderabad residence earlier. The Enforcement Directorate has also filed a money laundering case, stemming from a previous FIR.
