The BJP criticized the PDP after leader Iltija Mufti questioned the blocking of Chinese media accounts in India. Mufti highlighted the blocking of Global Times, Xinhua, and other outlets, questioning the transparency of the Indian government. BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari accused the Muftis of sympathizing with Pakistan and China. Meanwhile, India rejected China's renaming of places in Arunachal Pradesh, asserting the state's integral status within India.
