💨 Abstract
Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot condemned the recent violence against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh, calling it a "blot on humanity." He criticized the Indian government for not taking concrete steps to protect the minorities, describing the situation as a diplomatic failure. Gehlot recalled India's role in Bangladesh's creation and urged the Indian prime minister to intervene and exert pressure on Bangladesh's interim government. Five Hindus have been killed in Bangladesh since early December.
