💨 Abstract
The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has nearly finished a new 7-MGD sewage treatment plant (STP) in Sonia Vihar to reduce Yamuna River pollution. Currently, Delhi produces 792 MGD of sewage, with only 610 MGD treated. The new plant, along with upgrades to existing STPs, aims to increase treatment capacity by 47 MGD.
