💨 Abstract
The Government Medical College (GMC) and Hospital in Rajouri will withhold salaries of staff members absent during the recent India-Pakistan conflict. Those included in the punishment range from faculty to interns, who fled on May 7. Their absence is considered unauthorized, with corresponding entries in their service records. The region, particularly Rajouri and Poonch, was heavily impacted by the shelling, resulting in 20 deaths and over 50 injuries.
