In Kalyan, a four-story building's top floor collapsed, killing six people (including four women and a two-year-old) and injuring four others. The incident occurred during construction work at the 30-year-old Shri Saptashringi building, which housed 52 families. Rescue teams were deployed, and the Maharashtra Chief Minister announced financial assistance for the victims' families. The building will be demolished, and displaced residents will be relocated.
