đź’¨ Abstract
In South Goa, police cane-charged and detained five protestors who blocked a national highway demanding the arrest of former Goa RSS chief, Subhash Velingkar. The protest, which began in the morning, continued into the night, with some demonstrators stopping vehicles and harassing occupants. The Margao Police detained these protesters, including a woman, and took them to the police station for interrogation.
