He chaired a meeting to review current desilting efforts and technologies, instructing officials to submit a policy report within a week. Maharashtra has 150 major reservoirs crucial for flood control, irrigation, and more. Six pilot projects have been selected for initial silt removal, with plans to expand based on their outcomes.
