💨 Abstract
Renowned astrophysicist Dr. Jayant Narlikar, who passed away at 86, planted saplings from Isaac Newton's legendary apple tree at the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA) in Pune in the mid-1990s, aiming to correct the incongruity of Newton's statue being under a banyan tree.
