President Droupadi Murmu has sought the Supreme Court's opinion under Article 143(1) regarding the constitutional time constraints on the President and Governors in reviewing state bills.During the decision made by the Supreme Court in the Tamil Nadu government's powers case on April 8, it previously was ruled that the presidency has to decide on the bills referred to for consideration within three months.
