💨 Abstract
The Supreme Court of India declined an urgent hearing for a plea seeking an FIR against Allahabad High Court Justice Yashwant Varma, who was involved in a cash discovery case. The court directed the petitioner, Mathews Nedumpara, to follow the proper mentioning procedure. Justice Varma was earlier asked to resign by former Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna after an internal committee found prima facie evidence against him.
