💨 Abstract
In 1977, Morarji Desai, a Hindu Indian politician, was welcomed by Kashmiri Muslims as a "holy warrior" from Pakistan, despite his Gandhian and auto-urine therapy advocacy. This event occurred while he was campaigning against Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, who had allowed the Jamaat-e-Islami to contest elections in 1972, giving them political and constitutional legitimacy.
