💨 Abstract
At the Paris car show, Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker BYD warned that EU's proposed tariffs on Chinese-made EVs will increase prices and deter buyers, affecting the affordability for lower-income consumers. Nine Chinese brands, including BYD, are showcasing their latest models at the event, but will only account for about a fifth of the brands due to a stronger showing from European auto industry.
