The European Commission is planning to impose additional tariffs on electric vehicles imported from China, including companies like BYD, Geely, SAIC Group, and Tesla. Provisional tariffs range from 17% for BYD to 35.3% for SAIC Group and other non-cooperating companies. Tesla has been given an individually calculated duty rate of 7.8%.
