💨 Abstract
The US has imposed new sanctions on Iran's petroleum and petrochemical sectors in response to Iran's October 1 attack on Israel. The sanctions aim to deny the Iranian regime resources for its destabilizing activities and are being imposed on 16 entities engaged in Iranian petroleum trade and 23 vessels. The US is also taking measures to disrupt the flow of revenue for Iran's nuclear program and support of terrorist proxies.
