đź’¨ Abstract
A U.S.-backed humanitarian organization, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), plans to start operations in Gaza by the end of May. GHF has urged Israel to allow immediate aid delivery under existing procedures until its infrastructure is ready. Half a million Gazans face starvation due to the halt in aid since March 2. GHF aims to distribute aid from secure sites across Gaza, including the north, but Israel currently permits only a few sites in the south.
