💨 Abstract
The World Health Organization (WHO) member states unanimously adopted the first-ever Pandemic Agreement to strengthen global collaboration and ensure a more equitable response to future pandemics. This agreement, approved during the 78th World Health Assembly, aims to improve international coordination in pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response. Key elements include equitable access to vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics, and the establishment of a Pathogen Access and Benefit Sharing system.
