đź’¨ Abstract
On January 6, Aden, Yemen, experienced calm after anti-aircraft guns targeted unidentified drones near the presidential palace. The city is controlled by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC). This incident occurs amid efforts to resolve a conflict between the STC and Yemen's Saudi-backed government, which has strained relations between the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The Houthis, who control the capital Sanaa, remain the dominant military force.
