💨 Abstract
South African motorists can expect a drop in fuel prices in early January 2026. Diesel prices are projected to decrease by 94 to 102 cents per litre, while petrol prices are set to fall by 15 cents (93 octane) and 17 cents (95 octane) per litre. These projections are based on current market conditions, including the international oil price and the rand/dollar exchange rate.
