💨 Abstract
Walmart is launching a mobile app in South Africa, marking its entry into the country’s e-commerce market. Through its local arm, Massmart, the app will offer online shopping with fast delivery, leveraging Walmart’s global expertise and local logistics. Shoppers can buy groceries, liquor, and general merchandise via a user-friendly interface. Delivery options will include motorcycles and larger vehicles, though not as fast as Walmart’s US Express service.
