💨 Abstract
South Africa’s Department of Home Affairs (DHA) will introduce door-to-door passport delivery for expats from November 2025, eliminating the need for a second embassy visit. The service, costing $30–$60, will be piloted in cities like London, Dubai, and New York, with plans to expand nationwide. The move, part of the "Home Affairs @ Home" strategy, aims to modernize services, reduce wait times, and improve efficiency.
