💨 Abstract
The South African government has opened its first state-run shopping mall in Isipingo, KwaZulu-Natal, as part of upgrades to the Passenger Rail Agency (PRASA) train station. The 7,259-square-meter mall, with space for 45 stores, aims to create jobs and revitalize the community. While some tenants like KFC and Standard Bank have moved in, much of the space remains unoccupied.
