💨 Abstract

At the Water Security Africa Conference, Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation David Mahlobo declared water insecurity as a past issue for South Africa. He emphasized the need for integrated, multi-sectoral approaches to ensure equitable water access and effective management. Mahlobo advocated for a holistic "One Water" approach, encouraging reuse, recycling, and leveraging entire water value chains.
