💨 Abstract
The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) has commended traffic officers for arresting eight motorists attempting to bribe them since the start of the 2025 festive season. The RTMC praised the officers' zero-tolerance stance against corruption, aiming to enhance road safety. Arrests occurred in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, and Gauteng. The RTMC warns that both offering and accepting bribes are criminal offenses and urges compliance with traffic laws.
