đź’¨ Abstract
Bain & Company, a consultancy firm implicated in South Africa's state capture scandal, has shut down its local operations just three years after being banned from government contracts. The firm, which had a R187 million SARS restructuring contract, was found to have been involved in corrupt activities under former commissioner Tom Moyane. Whistleblower Athol Williams accused Bain of trying to silence him after he testified at the Zondo Commission.
