💨 Abstract
Cape Town is facing a water pressure crisis due to a major mechanical failure at the Molteno Reservoir Pump Station. Residents from University Estate to Camps Bay are urged to reduce water usage as emergency repairs continue. The issue began on Monday with pump and transformer failures, leading to low water pressure or no water in many areas. Despite efforts to increase production at the Kloofnek Water Treatment Plant, residents must conserve water to prevent further outages.
