đź’¨ Abstract

A multi-vehicle crash on the N10 in the Eastern Cape between Cookhouse and Gqeberha killed five people on 30 November. The collision involved two trucks and a bakkie, with emergency services facing delays due to the remote location and poor cellphone coverage. Meanwhile, Transport Minister Barbara Creecy launched the "Arrive Alive" Road Safety Campaign, emphasizing personal responsibility in preventing road accidents.
