💨 Abstract
A 27-year-old man from Limpopo was arrested for allegedly using forged documents to purchase a R1.3 million Ford Ranger Raptor. He submitted a fake bank statement and payslip to WesBank for the finance application, which was approved. The suspect failed to make payments, leading WesBank to discover the fraud. The Hawks' Serious Commercial Crime Investigation Unit arrested him, with the case set to be heard in July 2025.
