💨 Abstract
The remains of Andile Mngwevu, the Ekurhuleni MMC of Roads and Transport, and three others were found in Mozambique on January 27, 2026. Mngwevu went missing earlier in the month when his vehicle was swept away by floods in the Chokwé area. Mozambique is experiencing severe flooding, causing widespread displacement and damage. Mngwevu's family described him as a dedicated and compassionate individual.
