💨 Abstract
Two South African Police Service (SAPS) officers were brutally murdered while transporting an awaiting trial prisoner, Jabulani Moyo, in Roodepoort on August 8th. Moyo, initially accused of armed robbery, shot the officers and fled. The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (Popcru) condemned the attack, calling for improved safety measures and swift justice for the perpetrator.
