💨 Abstract
The Patriotic Alliance (PA) will remain in South Africa's Government of National Unity (GNU) after talks with the ANC. PA deputy leader Kenny Kunene confirmed the decision, stating tensions were eased and common ground was found. The meeting addressed PA's ultimatum over Kunene's reinstatement to Johannesburg's mayoral committee. Despite dissatisfaction with ANC's local governance, the PA accepted proposals, ending speculation of a walkout. PA leader Gayton McKenzie endorsed the outcome.
