💨 Abstract
Relations between the U.S. and South Africa have hit a low due to U.S. interference in South Africa's domestic affairs and upcoming tariffs on South African exports. Foreign Minister Ronald Lamola stated that the U.S. has historically interfered minimally but recent events, including tariffs and political disagreements, have strained the relationship. South Africa faces potential job losses due to the tariffs, which could impact around 30,000 jobs.
