💨 Abstract

KwaZulu-Natal is expecting scattered showers and thunderstorms due to increasing instability. The South African Weather Service warns of potential heavy rain, hail, and strong winds, particularly in the northern and central regions. A level 1 severe thunderstorm warning is in effect, with risks of flooding and damaging winds. Temperatures will rise, reaching around 28°C in Durban, with heat-induced thunderstorms possible. Residents are advised to stay alert and cautious.
