Haier, the world's largest home appliance brand, has launched in South Africa. The Chinese company, known for its energy-efficient appliances, aims to capitalize on the country's urban development and rising demand for such products. Haier's initial offerings will be available through major retailers, with plans to establish a comprehensive after-sales service system. The company already has a local presence through its acquisition of Kwikot, South Africa's largest geyser manufacturer.
