đź’¨ Abstract
Former Springbok Adriaan Richter, who played in the 1995 Rugby World Cup, has sold his winners' medal and other memorabilia due to financial hardship. The medal, awarded by Nelson Mandela, sold for R62,500, while another trophy fetched R34,000. Richter, 59, struggles to find work and believes age and racial factors have limited his opportunities.
