Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg has partially closed the lower road at its arrivals section for "important operational activities and infrastructure upgrades." The closure will last until further notice, affecting those picking up passengers, who are advised to use Parkade 2 North and South. The upgrades aim to enhance security, traffic control, and deter illegal parking. Passengers are advised to plan for additional travel time.
