💨 Abstract
In 2026, Cyprus is set to join the Schengen Zone, becoming the 30th member. Known for its Mediterranean beaches and rich history, Cyprus has completed the necessary technical requirements, including integrating with the EU’s Visa Information System and installing the Entry Exit System. This change will simplify travel for South African visitors, allowing them to use a standard Schengen visa for entry and onward travel within the zone.
