💨 Abstract
After a decade-long hiatus, Mitchells Plain will celebrate the Christmas season with a festive lights switch-on on December 5, 2025. The event, starting at 16:00 and ending at 21:00 on Morgenster Road, will feature Cape Town mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis lighting up the streets. Attendees can enjoy food stalls, music, and performances by local artists.
