💨 Abstract
Santander is ending the 1% cashback on supermarket, fuel, and travel spending for Edge and Edge Up account holders from September 9, 2025, due to increased costs. Only cashback on household bills will remain. This change affects both new and existing customers. The bank is notifying account holders. This follows the discontinuation of five text message alerts earlier this year.
