💨 Abstract
Toyota considers investing £40 million in a new assembly line at its Burnaston plant in the UK to produce GR Corollas for the US market. The move could boost production rates and bring new models to Europe. The plant, operational since 1992, currently produces Corollas and has seen significant investments in the past. Toyota denies that Trump tariffs are the primary driver for this potential shift.
