💨 Abstract
A new May 29 rule automation will allow electric vehicle (EV) drivers to avoid planning applications to install chargers, saving money and time. Lilian Greenwood, Minister of Roads Future, believes it will make EV adoption easier and estimates savings of up to £1,100 each year. The UK alone has 80,000 charge points already, indicating that the number will rise dramatically.
