💨 Abstract
The Spitfire Summer Camp in Alexandria, Virginia, engages girls from first to fifth grade in reading and typical camp activities. The Spitfire Club, a year-round program, aims to boost reading skills and confidence. Campers enjoy games, scavenger hunts, and making friendship bracelets. Twelve-year-old Kaylyn Bermudez, a longtime participant, now serves as a counselor.
