💨 Abstract
Moving south after days of heavy rain, the low-pressure system that caused record flooding along Australia's east coast left four dead and one missing in New South Wales. Approximately 50,000 people are isolated due to the floods. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and New South Wales Premier Christopher Minns are visiting affected communities. Recovery efforts are beginning as water levels recede, but access to some areas is complicated by landslides and damaged infrastructure.
