💨 Abstract
A deadly house fire in Maryland claimed the lives of four children and two adults. The fire, which started in an enclosed porch, engulfed a home in the 3000 block of Declaration Court North in Waldorf. Investigators found a disconnected smoke alarm in the basement with no battery installed, though it is unclear if there were active alarms elsewhere. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and no evidence of arson has been found.
