đ¨ Abstract
Starting in fall 2025, Arlington Public Schools will expand the use of Yondr pouches to lock away students' cellphones during the school day across more high school campuses. The initiative, already in place at Wakefield High School, aims to reduce distractions and foster better engagement in classrooms and social interactions among students. Critics, however, raise concerns about emergency contact, but schools have established procedures to access phones if needed.
