đź’¨ Abstract

Bulgaria is on the verge of adopting the euro, aiming to deepen ties with Western Europe, but faces significant opposition. Approximately 50% of Bulgarians are against adopting the euro, driven by fears of inflation, poverty, and disinformation on social media. With relatively low debt and a history of fiscal conservatism, Bulgaria's inclusion in the eurozone is economically feasible.
